Acrylic Painting - Free Art Tutorials

Acrylic paints became commercially available in the 1950's so are a very new medium. Whilst their longevity remains unknown, paintings from the 50's show no cracks or signs of yellowing. Acrylics are generally much cheaper than oil paints, and dry far more quickly. They also lend themselves to mixed media techniques.
